    I can't even imagine. just like that you're homeless. I hope insurance gives them something but as stated above i doubt it.

    The news thing i saw said they thought it was a cracked sewage pipe that caused it, if that's the case it would seem to be like the city should be responsible for the house.

    If you come across a cobra in the wild, wipe it off and apologize.

    If I heard correctly, this is the same pipeline that caused a similar hole about 4-5 years ago? Definitely negligence on the city and contractor's part...

    All the infrastructure is dated... everywhere. Things are only going to get worse.

    Come on down to Dearborn. Lots of hotels were just built...just up the street from the many "motels".

    Last time was back in '04 on the Sterling Heights side of Hayes. You'd think the contractors would've analyzed the pipes on the other side to determine their condition in order to avert further issues.

    They are suppose to check the pipes every 10 years... Someone didn't do their job...
