The fitech and 5speed conversion is the best money I've ever spent on a muscle car. It's not the same car anymore

Haven't started it in a few months. Last weekend, reached in and hit the key, fired right up and idled perfect, pulled it out and went on a short ride for the hell of it

For those who have something like this, can you break in a motor using it? I don't have a whole lot of faith in the carb that I rebuilt and never ran

Adding a return line to your tank isn't a big deal. Take it to a radiator shop & have it cleaned. I'll weld the bung in for you. Or you can sump it & use the factory pickup for the return. That's what I did on my Coronet. I ran a Bosch 044 pump, cake to install. Never had any issues with anything. Fuck that command center.
I used to be 'with it'. Then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm 'with' isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.......

Breaking in a flat tappet cam? Or seating rings on a new engine? You gotta drive (load) it to seat the rings. It's self learning, I don't see why not. I'd use a wideband too though just to make sure it's in the ballpark.

Have almost 200 miles on this new FiTech. Other than initial set up I have not tweaked any of the settings and is running very very good.

Anyone else running FiTech on here? (No more carbs)45858.jpeg

How happy are you with it altogether?

I am contemplating one of these to go on a Cadillac 500.
