Doing a little old school on the build guessing from how hard it was to find the paint to do it with
Painted the lifter valley and interior of the block with ( Glyptal ) paint helps the oils run back to the pan faster
Went to Painters Supply asking for it and they didn't know what I was asking for
Searched Summits website got lucky found it at Eastwood

Lol whatever helps you sleep better. I am a fan of smoothing/enlarging the drainback holes in the cylinder heads.
