Question Most Unique Vehicle I’ve Ever Purchased…

At first glance, it looks like your everyday 1999
Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 pick up. Truck is fully optioned.

It has 85,000 miles on it…..and has never been driven on
the road! The truck has never been plated. Has spent almost
    all of its life indoors.

This truck was purchased new by the government as a
lab test vehicle. All 85,000 miles were driven on a dyno!

It is beyond clean! Truly a one of a kind. This is a real odd ball,
but a good odd ball! I’m thinking I’m going to keep this one.

I believe I know what it might be worth, but I am wondering,
what do you guys think this thing could be worth?

First of all how in the heck did you come across this for sale?? I would so save this, very cool truck. As for value, no idea, basically a new truck minus the miles!!

    Cool

Oh, there is a story behind this.

One night when there is nothing to do, I'll explain it all.

This is the only one like it in this country, probably the world and
it took them 18 years to sell this one. I saw the new 2017 replacement.

They didn't actually "test" this truck, it was used to set up dynos
    for testing others.

It's next to impossible to place values on things like this. Is that a 4.8? I believe 1999 had the old iron heads. I'm guessing it might be worth ~7k? It's really clean, but not totally different than a low mileage southern vehicle.

While I agree it would be hard to place a value on it, it certainly isn't impossible.
My best guess is a very easy 10K and perhaps closer to 12K is what this very strong
truck market is commanding for such a vehicle.

My 2002 southern Suburban with 122,000 miles on it easily sold for $9,800. last year.

You know it Sir, and for those reasons I'm pretty sure that is what I'm going to do.

I just wanted some feedback from you folks & get your thoughts on what is a

    pretty rare find.

Thank you so far guys, any more thoughts?
