I'm curious to find out where this machine came from? Considering I work for Axalta aka DuPont and that's one of our machines with Chromabase
I have a bad case of Automotive A.D.D.

The reason paint is so expensive is because of these high volume repair shops that demand crazy discounts, in return the paint companies have to increase price to balance out the TNR. So in reality you can blame greedy BSM's and owners that like to play games is distributors and manufactures causing them to increase price, soon one day the general consumer paying list price will be nearly $1000 for a spray-able gallon of clear

Hence the popularity of wraps, plasti-dip and rat rods. All but kills the painting hobbyist.
