    Default IROC Z Engine swp

I received a request for a shop recommendation to swap the 305 out of an IROC and install a crate motor. I assume they are staying with the FI. No details were provided. Naturally, I turn to my experienced MM peeps for input. Thanks.

Budget? I always throw out Livernois, but something like that is going to be expensive.

Thanks Geoff. I thought of Livernois as well. I will see if I can get more info.

I'd also consider Masterworks Automotive in Madison Heights. They do very nice work and have a presence on Michigan F-body. They specialize in Corvettes but do stuff like this too. Can't really speak to their prices, but they're good people and remember feeling like it was fair for the quality of work done.

Back when Sean had CARS, he was doing a lot of swaps like that for a place called Heads Up Racing in Mount Clemens. You could try them too. Not sure if they farm them out or do them onsite though.

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.
