Why doesnt MSP focus on the 70 to 100 year old drivers that should not be driving. Being stuck behind an old person doing 30 on a 50 zone causes road rage and accidents.

This is all focused on the younger crowd.

MSP abuse the power they have.

so can we fine the police I see daily using the laptop , tlking on their phone, drinking coffee?
To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

Your Judgeship, when was the last time you changed the radio station in your car? You need to drive like a Las Vegas card dealer? "We couldn't see his hands..."

That would be my response... "Who was the cop in car 74? Why was he drinking coffee, talking on the phone and staring at his laptop while driving down M59?"

I have a stick and hold the bottom of the steering wheel. My GPS is mounted up high. It's a good thing my phone is attached to the Bluetooth....

I'm coming up Memorial weekend...I'll have to stay off Hall Rd. I'll be hooking up my Mom's phone to the Bluetooth in the car.

They aren't saying the police are going to pull you over for that. They are quoting the NHTSA's list of items that can be distracting. And, it's true - if your name is Dick[1]. But really, everything can be distracting.

[1] I wonder if anyone else remembers that commercial.

I hope some lawyer fights all speeding tickets while a police car is in motion due to the officer himself breaking this law. If he is looking at his radar, he is distracted thus the stop itself illegal.

You need to stay off Hall Rd. anyway, half of it's under construction and it's pure unadulterated hell right now.
    Sick of cars.
