Default C4 Corvette ZR-1 | The Forgotten and Underappreciated Corvette

Here is a short film on the C4 ZR-1, featuring sound from both the engine and exhaust. Such a shame that this car has been left to oblivion.

Awesome car, nice video work too! I love c4 vettes and especially the ZR1.

I cannot imagine buying a 405 hp car and driving away with it and not realizing that it wasn't putting out 405 hp, let alone for 8 years. Did the owner never ask the dealer why it wasn't fast?

I remember drooling over those 20 years ago, awesome cars for sure. They were way ahead of their time, 405HP was a lot of power for that era. I didn't know Lotus had a hand in designing the engine.

Such cool cars when they came out. I was in high school and addicted to car magazines, and the ZR-1 was all over the covers in reviews and shoot-outs with it's contemporary performance cars.

Thanks for all of the kind feedback everyone! I think it's a real shame that people mention ZR1, and many people only know it as a C6. They've forgotten about the C4, and many don't even know that there was also a C3!

Love how these cars have the engine power key way back then. Wonder what it did to cut power? Also gotta love the porno red interior.
