    Default Disposing of old ammunition...

    I have some old ammunition i need to get rid of. Whats the best way? Where? Not a ton, maybe like 100 rounds or so... Mostly .38 special and 9 mm

    Clean it up with 00 steel wool and shoot it. I have done the same with 303 British from the first world war that was rolling around in the bottom of a wooden toolbox.

    Dont shoot it, you run the risk of fucking something up.

    In the past, we had called the local PD in advance and dropped it off at the station. When my parents moved into their house in the 90's, there were plastic bins full of nasty lookin' shotgun shells in the basement.
