    Next debate!!

Anthony, my buddy/business partner is selling a 2000 F250, crew cab, short bed, 4x4, V10 automatic. I think 150k on it and rusted doors and rear wheel wells. Has exhaust leak, probably from manifold bolts, but runs well and had regular oil changes (he got it from his dad, who bought it new and used it for work). I think he wants $2k. In my opinion it could be made to look presentable with some elbow grease, POR, touch up paint, and wheel flares. As it sits, it's ugly and I'd like it out of the building lol.

Look under the truck at the frame really really good. Make sure it isn't rotted out anywhere.

Test drive it and put the brakes to work. See if they fade, shake, glaze over.

That HD looks like an ok deal and it comes with a 4L80 trans. LS stuff is abundant... Make sure if doesnt have a 4.8 swapped into it? Door jams look good.

    I noticed this too.

200k on both. What's more reliable at 200k ls or 5.4
    5 years older too

Those super duty trucks are heavy and were definitely under powered with the 5.4, but maybe that one is OK with that banks stuff on it. They do run for a long time, as long as the spark plugs don't shoot out.

Exhaust manifold bolts can break also, but I'm assuming that's already happened since they put headers on it. That Ford might be the way to go....cheap is a quality which overcomes many faults.

Better than the 05 Silverado 6.0 I linked above?

    200k vs 210k

Ford has wheel well covers over the rust.
    Rubber floors

I admit I'm a ford guy. But "people" say the 6.0 is badass but with 200k miles?

The ford is 3k cheaper, extra money to swap out those horrible headlights and maybe some carpet
