I used to be 'with it'. Then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm 'with' isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.......

Yea. Hopefully the bearings all look good. Going to finish pulling the heads and clean up the journals.

Cam looks great, cam bearings look shot. Need to pull the trans so I can pull the rest of the block out and apart.
Pulled the rest of the engine down. Forgot how heavy the cast iron 4-speed was. Took that out after I got out of the gym-another dumb call on my part
All of the machined surfaces seem great. The rod bearings show a little wear but they are getting replaced anyway. The crank bearings are not doing great.
Also ordered some extra parts. Switched from Felpro to Cometic MLS had gaskets. Aluminum Edelbrock water pump, hi flow Tstat, Canton deep sump oil pan and pickup.
Hopefully, fingers crossed, it will run cool and I don't have anymore issues once it its back together.
As for the original issue, I do have another 2-peice fuel pump eccentric somewhere, just need to dig it up.
