I finally got it up and running, both managed from my main router. Two hardwired PoE access points at either end of the house, one SSID, seemless roaming. No more having to manually disconnect from one and connect to the other, does it all on it's own. Next phase will be an access point mounted on my garage, then I should have 5GHz 802.11ac everywhere. I did run wireless bridges in the past, but they halve the bandwidth. Hardwired over gigabit ethernet is way better, and much, much faster. I did it all for half the cost of your typical top tier Linksys WRT or Netgear Nighthawk and have a much more stable and robust system. Good stuff
