Btw, thank you for the input and experiences you have encountered.

Egr is next in line, I don’t think I had it unplugged while running yet..

As much as it pains me, I only get frp for the van. There is a price on love= 6x everything else!

Egr is working, Back probing the wires show it’s working.

    Decided to pull the dizzy,
#2 on cap had green/white corrosion at the plug wire connection, all others clean.
Cap off and it looks bad, lots of corrosion on all 6 leads, a few showed the arcing was more to the side of the lead. Lots of metallic dust.

    Rotor in bad shape also.
Tip has a black spot on one corner the leading edge is corroded.
Cam sensor is covered in metallic dust.

Question: when ohm testing and ensuring a good initial contact dose the first reading tell anything? Before it settles down. I know it’s a resistance thing and final number is the actual resistance but is there such a thing as initial resistance?

Continuing to pull the distributor to check the gear and I think that’s maybe the main issue, definitely signs of wear, say 10-15%.

New distributor did the trick, well the new gear attached did the trick.
What a difference, it runs smoother and has better throttle response than it ever has.
We bought it with just under 100k, it has 184k and runs better now.

Thanks everyone for your help trying to figure this out.
