    Wtf.
This just confirms I’m a moron.
This started from what I believed was a job offering, after being very careful because of the only contact was text. My info was not requested other than name, address if I had a insured vehicle other than smart phone was a pc available, after 4 hours of back and forth he said we could move on to how I would get paid and expressing a mind reading of how unsafe it is to deal this way said: because of this reason he uses a account employees access to transfer the money themselves, safely.
Usaa ? Ok still no info request I’m interested honestly it was no promises of easy money, get rich quick but I’m thinking it’s a real opportunity and continue registering a account, just a registered normal account to access usaa website on my pc per his instructions after a minute of trying to type in the info because he is talking and asking questions he says could you use your phone and look this and that up( pertaining to the job to give me some insight on the tasks) and I notice my pc working itself, at first I just watched it as he is asking and I’m trying to think I realize it and close the window and log off. At that time no more communication.
They tried to link me as the son to a veteran’s bank account. It did not go through but it was close I think.

Start with USAA if that was the basis for the scam.

First thing in the morning, I have scrambled to use a different hopefully secure device and network to change all my account login and passwords, so far so good. In the process of keeping money from myself having 4 cashing and checking accounts crazily linked would stop anyone 6 accounts in before Getting to the good stuff, idk but I’m now worried more than ever about my privacy/security.
How did they get in my pc it’s got locks/codes and is not supposed to allow remote connection in more than one way, the second protocol should have locked it down.
I need a new pc and pc guy apparently.

Are you sure it wasn't just your browser chugging in the background? I am running Firefox on windows 10 and it does that all the time. I googled it and it seems to be common. I agree that there was an unknown scam going on, but I am not sure how he got through your router to your PC.
