I’m going to try to put my daughter in the pull behind trailer and go for a small ride today. Hoping she wants to. Lately she has been riding her own bike; a nice new Trek with training wheels we bought her last month.

And I act like a kid on my bike. Every time I ride I try to wheelie like I used to back in the box bike days. No jumping like we used to at the spot across from Nature Park on Platt.

Update: 2.5 miles with my daughter in the trailer. She wanted out and I didn’t like the amount of tire pressure that was in my tires. But I felt fine, could’ve definitely gone 2-3 times that distance.

Uh oh, where did that happen, time for a story.

    No crashing due to it?

I have always had a plan for a dog attack.

    While riding, and dog runs up on me, I;

    1) Yell at dog to GO HOME! Works almost every time.

    2) Spray dog with pepper spray.

    3) If dog is still attacking, if I'm carrying, shoot it. If not,
place the bike between me and the dog as a shield.

I have never had a dog attack and be laser focused. This dog
is a "trained attack dog" (fact). It charged me and was closing in,
I yelled "go home" and it did nothing.

The dog was within 10 feet at full speed and I sprayed him directly
in the face, it stopped him right in his tracks!

I hated to do it, but I was NOT going to be bit by another dog in
my lifetime. I realize its the owners fault, but thats not who was about
    to chomp down on me!

I highly recommend joggers / cyclists / walkers carry this stuff. If saved me
    a lot of pain.

Yeah that could’ve ended badly. Was that in Milan? What did the owner have to say?

    I should really buy some.

I never saw a person around or come out of the house.
Once Cujo was "down", I wasn't stopping, I never even slowed!

It could have ended very badly. It was a text book attack/response
    with the best possible results.

And yes, you really, really should buy for you and your wife. Buy
3, one to practice with (carefully ).

Just make sure you buy the gel spray.
