He says all along that he doesn't like the idea at all. In the above statement he does not say they should join forces and do away with the entity "Boy Scouts of America" which is what this does. In effect, ideally Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts should confront the safe space movement, going forward as separate entities. But better combined than not exist at all....a sad consolation prize. What happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Not necessarily any Mike. You are completely missing it.
Man I wouldn't venture to guess what Lord Bayden would say, he might be turning over in his grave over this!
I would hope that everyone would embrace the morals of the boy scouts. But guess what's one of the first steps in ending an organization? Answer...change the name.
How about let's ad the Orchid Society and the Ballet Society to the NRA and change the name to...National Hobby Association...see where this is going? How would that impact the NRA? Each group would still be able to do every activity they did before. This nations enemies (internal as much as external), have a checklist to accomplish their goals. The NRA is a huge target. You wanna save more kids, don't ban guns, ban cellphones. Texting while driving kills 16 teenagers a day. But the goal in that case is not to save lives, it's to eventually take away guns.
Hope you guys are getting what I'm saying. Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts together is not a terrible thing...I'm looking at a bigger picture in a trend I've been watching for almost six decades.

We can always replace the BSA and start a new club.
