Looking at photos of my car on other walled tracks it looks like I have a lot more room.

I know for sure it's not close to Norwalks width, Milan looks like it may be close.

Using google 131 and Milan look around 55' and Norwalk around 60' or so.
I wa as thinking the same thing. I was super excited until I saw how narrow the lanes looked. You are right. It is no where close to being as wide as Norwalk. Idk about Milan. But even Milan lanes look a lot wider. Hopefully like you said it's an optical illusion. But I think they are actually narrow. Only way to be positive is just bring a tape measure and go physically measure lapeer and Milan.

Google allows you to measure, I've used to to measure the roof of my house and property lines etc, it's always really close. I tried to look up track specs, one site showed a minimum of 14m(45.9318'), with ideal width being 18m(59.0551').

Either way I'll be going down it, was just curious if my eyes were messing with me or not. I'm thinking Lapeer is the 45'-50' range, maybe someone in the know will chime in.

Spending 2 million, track width seems an odd place to limit your spending. Limiting it in other places that can be updated/improved in the future would've seemed more wise. Of course without knowing why it's 45' I'm just talking out my ass, they could have a well thought out reason for it beyond budget.

They HAD to make it narrower to get an IHRA liscense? That doesnt sound right. Unless I'm reading that wrong.
