just adding asphalt to the pits would be a great improvement.

But then we can't call it the "dirtway"
I used to be 'with it'. Then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm 'with' isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.......

Been there a couple times, the first was janky. The track wasn't great but it was affordable. Either way, it was fun. Hopefully it gets a renovation and stays open

Just keep going a little further up the road and shoot some guns instead. Lmao. Even that was ruined though.. "paper targets and clay only...." F that!

Man, one summer it seemed like I was there almost every weekend. Had some good times, my little brother hot lapping the shit out of his stone stock 97 Thunderbird, hanging out, messing with my Coronet trying to get every last tenth out of it. This was back when the 1/4 panels were flapping in the breeze...

Oh yeah, and the one time I thought I was gonna die on the way up there. Got caught in a downpour on some rutted out two lane road with no shoulder, had my slicks on the car, driver's side wiper arm flew off, couldn't see shit, no where to pull over, good times, good times....

I was right there with you! I enjoyed Lapeer a lot until the car go fast enough for it to seem like a bad idea.
