If a business decides on changes are needed & breaks ground to do those changes, I would expect that business to be able to start & finish such projects as fast as possible. It would only hinder there business the longer a project strings out. Then she asked the board a question. She said it took her two months to get permits from the township to install an aboveground swimming pool. “How is it Mr. Jennings has managed to almost rebuild the entire dragway in approximately the same amount of time?”
For a homeowner, it will always take longer than expected to complete a project. Homeowner's do not always have the steady cash flow to plow thru unplanned hindrances.
Two in the audience spoke in favor of the dragway upgrades, including Chad Farley. “I live in the area. I moved here to be closer to the track,” and said people shouldn’t have bought places near a dragway that has been in existence since 1968 if they didn’t want to hear racing noise.
Need more Chads to attend those types of meetings.
If noise is a constant issue, should I94, I696, & all other freeways be closed down b/c folks can't sit out on there back patio without hearing motorized vehicles zooming past at a high rate of speed? What about bars & pubs that bring in the loud motorcycles?
