Default Diablo Fuel Pressure Regulator #002027648

Anyone work on Lamborghini's? My friend has a 1995 Diablo that he seems to think the pressure regulators are bad....

I worked on this while I was in Vegas a bit ago...

To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?" You can say, "Sorry, got these sacks."

I don't know much about Lambo's, but I would put an FPR pretty far down the list of things that go wrong on any car. That was pretty well proven technology by 1995. Two failing at once would seem HIGHLY unlikely, but again, maybe that is a thing with those cars? just throwing out my 2c. In a car that old I would look at replacing the fuel filter(s) first if he thinks it is a fueling issue. Then maybe a leaky or clogged injector.

New injectors - I told him to check the fuel pump first...

    Same.

Slantnose 930, Testarossa, Diablo. The Diablo still gives me that giddy schoolboy feeling. Not a single Lamborghini since Audi took over does anything for me...

Nope, I can't help at all. Haha.

What makes the driver think there's a fueling issue?

Dunno - But, it still has a mis-fire at idle sometimes. He said it was better after he put the new injectors in place.

Not familiar with the cars but it sounds like an EGR sticking open. Slight stumble at idle, runs great above 1k rpm?
