Default Highest mileage vehicle you've owned?

My Explorer with the 5.0 just rolled 195,000 miles and Im hoping to get well into the 200's before I have to buy a new vehicle. The things runs great and the original trans shifts like its new still; its just starting to break out with the typical rust from winters.

This is the highest mileage vehicle I've ever owned. I bought it with 137k miles from my buddies parents.

    Cool

I needed a first car back in 1980. My neighbor had a 1968
Pontiac Lemans, green, 2 door with a 350 V8. This guy
bought the car new in 1968 and drove it for 12 years (until
    1980).

He was an engineer at Ford and took extremely great care of
his car. But his co-workers at Ford were ribbing him pretty bad
for not driving a Ford product, so he offered to GIVE me his very
    reliable car.

This car had the original motor, trans, starter, alternator, radiator etc.
you get the idea, with no repairs or replacement to any of these components.

The car had over 400,000 miles! The car ran great & was safe, however my
mother would not allow me to accept the car gift because “no car with 400,000
    miles could be safe”.

He ended up giving it away to someone else who ended up driving it for many years!

I currently have a 94 gmc Sierra 5.0 with 278,000. Doesnt leak a drop of anything and the damn AC still works lol. I believe Moneypit has a straight 6 f150 with either 300,000 or 350,000

keep the maintenance up on a Chevy truck and it will last forever, my 99 Tahoe runs like new and I would not hesitate to drive it on a long trip tomorrow.

215k was on a 90’s era Lumina(car) I owned years ago. Right now my daily Junker has 187 and change on it.

My brother has a 2004 F250 work truck that had 46XK on it the last time I looked a few months back. It had 36xK on the 5.4 when it needed to be replaced, Still original trans/rear end. He has a “newer” 2009 F250 with a touch under 300K.(all original driveline still).
