Thread: Flying With Liquor

    Default Flying With Liquor

I was thinking loading up on some local vodka to bring with me to friends in Seattle but I was afraid of breakage or a luggage loader pocketing it .
Any feedback on flying with liquor in their check in? Flying Delta if that makes a difference

Wrap the bottles well and you should be fine. Hard shell luggage case would be best. Make sure the bottles are not able to touch each other and are not against the outside surface of the bag.

Agree. I brought back a few bottles of wine from Italy in my checked in bag. Just wrap each bottle in clothes and make sure they are isolated from each other and towards center.

I bring several bottles home from Aruba every year. Never had a problem in my checked luggage. Like others said, just make sure there's some stuff packed around them for protection.
