Default Anybody know any good welder repair places?

I have a Miller Dynasy 700 and i recently got a "HELP 41" error code...did some research and there is something wrong in the welder.

I took it to a place through air gas and they basically told me every part in the whole welder needed to be replaced for a price of almost 10k. I highly doubt the long list of parts they quoted were broken.

Anybody know anywhere else I can take it to that isn't going to replace every part on the welder to fix it?

Thanks. My father in law is looking for a place to check out a welder of his that isn’t working right. I’m not going to be in Mich until the end of the month and he doesn’t want to wait that long.

There is a guy in Jackson that rebuilds them... I'll see if I can find him. He sells them on Craigslist when he's done.

You are probably just better of giving it to me to scrap...

Good luck. In all honesty I will never buy a used dynasty. Once the boards in them fault out/short out, its thousands and thousands to get them replaced. They work great, until they dont. We have scrapped machines at work because the repair bill was almost 75% of a new machine.
