Rich I’m pretty sure you will need to get the pin count on the plug and amperage to get the right one.

Rich I have a used one off of a early 5.3 - off of a Silverado I think it was off of a 2001-2002 . It came off of a running truck. You're welcome to it Free.

    SMC may have some
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

That looks like it... I picked one up but the plug is different, it only uses 2 wires so I may be able to switch the plug.... Let me wok on it a little .... see if I can figure it out... and I was mistaken... mine is the larger frame one.

Okay it’s here if you need it I’m in Clinton township or I could drop it off at your shop. I need to talk to you anyway to see if there are upgrades I should make to my 4l80e before I do my LS swap.

I guess I would rather install yours than change the plug... friend of mine had a half dozen alternators like this.... all with the later plug.... I wanted to check with him first... he does not have what i need.

My vette with an automatic trans was throwing belts with a manual trans alternator on it. Clutch in alt is different for automatic and manual...something to be aware of.
