Default Brake pads and rotors... Suggestions needed

I need to replace the front and rear brakes on my 2013 F150. I'm looking for suggestions on brands/pad material etc. At least a few times a year I tow a 29' boat and triple axle trailer. Looking for better performance than OE.

I would stick with OEM rotors because they are solid. Drilled and vented rotors will just reduce your braking performance. Hawk/EBC make a good replacement pad with more bite but they might squeak on you and will surely give you more brake dust.

I replaced the Pads and rotors on my Taurus SHO with EBC brand. I bought the red pads and had very little brake dust. EBC has a good selection of pads and rotors. I little pricey though. Brake pedal felt better than the factory to me. If you do decide on EBC make sure you follow the burnishing procedure that comes with the pads.

To tell you the truth, unless you go EBC, BAER, HAWK, just get the cheap stuff off Rockauto.com

I run ebc on the four wheelers. Solid stuff even in mud and dust.
