    Default License plate disqualified!!???!!

Hey guys. I have a leased Taurus sho that is down in fl for my mom to drive while she is down there. She just got pulled over by a FL police officer. The officer told her the plate is coming back “disqualified” and he wants to take the car and plate. The car is and always has been insured. The car is a pre paid lease and all payments were paid in advance. I’ve had the car 2 years. Plates are current and renewed on my Bday in Person.

She called me, I spoke to the police officer on the stop and told him to please have his supervisor come to the traffic stop. My mom got back on the phone and she said they went back to their car. 2 min later he came back and said your free to go.

Wtf. Anyone every heard of a “ disqualified” plate???

    is it a personalized plate?
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Personalized plate being recalled for whatever reason or a suspected lapse in insurance coverage possibly. When I was stationed in NC, someone got pulled over for something similar due to the DMV/Insurance company mixing up dates. It was a mess, car impounded and a headache

Sec of State is likely to blame for a documentation error. Follow up with SoS here to work out what they may have caused for an issue is my suggestion.

Thx guys. Never seen anything like this. It is a standard issued plate.

Often seen it as just an excuse to pull someone over, but it's not typically an older, non-minority woman that they use that one on lol

Wonder if he typed in a 0/O, 5/S, 2/Z incorrectly in the first round.
