    Default Can anyone make these?

I am looking to make a set of tow tabs for my 67 Chevelle. I swear I have seen this shape for the material but cant recall what its called and where I saw it. Want to give my chevelle a "day 2" look and these were very popular back in the day. I have attached some pictures any help would be great.34620.jpg34621.jpg34622.jpg65tabinstructions.jpg

Looks like its just some 1/4 plate, you can get the material from the hardware store and make them up pretty easy if you have a decent angle grinder

The added weight will help keep the front wheels planted during a hard launch!

People used them for flat towing drag cars to the tracks since most people didn't have trailers and would pull them with the family station wagon

Been do a lot of research on these thing and learning about the "Day 2" process and found out a lot of guys also made their own tabs. I mocked these up from cardboard to see what I could do. Now I just need some steel and make these happen.
