    I bought it new in March while the 1080ti's were out of stock. Used it for about a month until I built a new machine, and then my fiancee was using it for school work on occasion. Plenty of life left in it.

    $800 is a steal. If you build it with the basic parts listed and the cheapest of the rest (power supply, 1TB drive, cheap case, etc.) you're still easily over $1,000 and odd's are it has much higher quality parts than what you'd get for that cheapest price. For someone looking for a gaming PC you won't be able to build this yourself for anywhere near $800.
