Default welding fox mustang seat mount precautions?

I have to fix a broken drivers seat mount on my 91 mustang. Never had to weld on a newer car with a computer, should I remover the computer, or is just disconnecting the battery ok.

Just disconnect the battery and you'll be fine.

As long as you ground to the seat frame or the mount that you are welding you will be fine, good luck.

All we ever do at work is disconnect the batteries. In a fox, just the one. Some newer cars, especially those with start-stop engines, have a secondary battery tucked away somewhere.
