LOL, I certainly earned more! It was a Monroe County Deputy and
I was doing 72 in a 50.

I highly recommend following my list of what to do and not do
during a pull-over. I believe it helps all concerned.

Agreed - make them feel at ease and it really helps. I keep my hands on the wheel, ignition off, windows down, lights on, 4 ways on.

1) Roll down all windows.
2) Shut car off.
3) Turn on 4 way flashers.
4) If night time, turn on car interior lights.
5) Place hands outside (through open window) resting on door in plain sight.
6) Don't move until requested to do so.
7) Ask / informed officer what I'm doing before I moved / do it.
8) Thank the officer.


I recently got pulled over for 22 MPH over the speed limit.
I did all of the above. I received a very nice "warning".

i do all of this except i just keep my hands on the wheel at 11 / 1 instead. and also immediately inform them i have my cpl and am/am not carrying and where the gun(s) is located.

my windows at limo over everything and 20 on the windshield and have been let off with more warnings now than i can count lol

The law would actually make it worse. Now, you can have the rears as dark as you want. The law basically says 20% is the darkest you could have in the rear and would limit the fronts and windshield to roughly 70% which is basically clear.

They need to regulate LED light bar usage. Tired of idiots driving through town blinding the shit out of oncoming traffic with their lights. Or even flooding the interior of my car with light when they pull up behind you at a traffic light.

You’re not supposed to look directly at oncoming headlights. Look down and to the right of road. Remembered this from high school drivers training.

I’ve tinted like this for about 10 years and have never been stopped. It’s all 5% with a 35% windshield.

You are spot on with this. I'm glad I have power folding mirrors and the flip down DVD in the expedition even. I've started folding the mirrors in on the expressway and pulling the flip down down to block my rear view, especially in the rain when it's already hard enough to see. I even have dark tint all the way around.
