Default Whats the best sounding mufflers for a fox 302 w/longtubes and x pipe

IMG_5685.JPGredoing the exhaust on my 347 notchback and trying to choose which mufflers to go with. Car already has bbk longtubes and bbk x-pipe. At the moment thinking on using MAC mufflers but wanting to get some other opinions.

Borla... No clue what model but a friend has the normal mish mash fox body exhaust setup and Borla muffs.. they aren't race mufflers I know that much. It's a convertible and sounds good top up or top down. His is a 306 with mild cam, makes 300rwhp.

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I agree. 2 chamber 40 series. Nothing else sounds like a 5.0 with flow masters. This is with full tail pipes though. I personally don’t like them just dumped at the axle.

I had 40s dumped on my 96 GT with an X-Pipe. I liked it. It was loud.
