Probably 5-6" down in the Pointes. Went out for breakfast at 10 am and it snowed two inches before we got back at noon. It was pretty heavy all morning here.

    Not enough

I am annoyed. I started my snowblower in October/November when I moved houses. No problem. Went to start it after the snow last week and it's totally locked up.

I pulled the cord assembly and that works fine. Thought maybe it was hydro-locked (gas/oil?) and I yanked the spark plug and pulled the cord... still locked up.

10hp 28" snowblower sitting in the garage doing nothing. *sigh*

Spend the repair money on having a neighborhood kid shovel it this Winter?

Is that even still done these days? I did that and made good money back in
    the day.

Physically disconnect the auger from the motor & try pulling the cord with the plugs out.

I’m kind of with you on that Mike. Well, mine isn’t locked up but I did an oil change first week of November, put fresh gas in etc. It started on the 5th pull after sitting all summer. The other day I tried to start it and it wouldn’t. Drained the tank (has a fuel shut off, never sits with gas in the float bowl), and cleaned the carb. No start. Replace the plug, no start. I swear these things are irritating to own.

I don't think it is anymore. I've never had kids to my door asking if they could do the snow, and there's a lot of kids in the neighborhood. In other news, I swapped out the paddles and scraper and changed the oil on my snowblower this afternoon. Fired right up. Bring on the snow lol
