Default Anyone here work for Eaton? need a Eaton Trac-aide.......cant get one.

As the title says... The rear end on The Z06 started whining worse than the ex-wife..... drained the gear lube and got the dreaded metallic milkshake......So, not wanting to deal with possibly having another bevel washer eat its self again, I decide to order a Eaton trac-aide...... I ordered and paid for one thru Jegs…. then get an email saying it wont Ship until 12/31/2019!?!?! I asked a jegs customer service rep if that was accurate or just a generic date they put in due to back order... he calls eaton and they tell him its legit...… is it because Eaton doesent do that run of Diff's until the end of the year? I'd really like to run one... the thing is six lbs lighter than the stock diff AND has a 30% stronger drive axle stubs... its perfect for my application.

They don't have any 2018 units floating around? Considering that year just ended...
I'd check around and see if anywhere else may have it.

Call rpm trans in indiana and check
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I was in a similar situation before. I paid a given amount for something, but it was actually never available.
The only way to actually get it was to buy it from the place that had it, which as you mentioned wants a shit pile more...
