I still stand by what I said in there. I am for taxing the people who use it to pay for it. This isn't that though. This is a cash grab, Next she is going to take general fund money from the roads and use it for her $500 million boost in education. It is the oldest bait and switch in the book.

What has the money from the last gas tax hike done besides fill pockets?

It's currently 26 cents per gallon. This would be a 3-stage increase, 15 cents each time. So we'd end at 71 cents per gallon.....yeah, hell with this.

How is this tax proposal applicable to "environmentally friendly" road motor vehicles that share these common roads with I.C.E vehicles?

It's a two way street; If it cannot equally impact those "green, clean, eco-friendly, alternative fuel vehicles", then IMO it's just an illegal cash grab.

ughhhhhhh this pisses me off so much. Moving here from Texas, I thought this was motor city, good ol' motown. I didn't realize money hungry corrupt assholes ran this city lol.

They just paved Joslyn road by GM in Pontiac, its already falling apart.. not even 6 months old. The companies that get paid to do this work must use crappy materials.

Look at some of the concrete work that was done at the old factories... its still in great shape! almost 100 years old.

Time to quit giving all these business tax breaks and make them more responsible since the semis are delivering products to there stores. Highest car insurance in the nation now they want us to pay almost a dollar a gallon tax for gas. Dumb ass people voted this liberal turd into office.

So what about all the side streets? Why is literally every street shit here? its not the big trucks, its shit construction. They are making the contractors rich and the contractors are paying off the gov employees.
