Buy a Be-Cool thermostatic switch to run a relay. Summit sells them, best way to go IMO. I could put something together for you if you're interested.

I have an aluminum 4 core for a 66 with electric fan still in the box for sale.
I also have 2 66 mustang fan shrouds for the stock mechanical fan forsale
I think I tossed the stock fan in recycling a few weeks ago.
