Nope. I didn't even see it until the public did. Definitely the most top secret program I have ever seen at GM.

I got a Camaro rental this week on our trip

Why is the nav screen tilted down? It looks awkward. Also the surround trim is odd. Looks like it was tacked on afterwards. Not flush with rest of dash.

From what I gathered (nothing official) it was because they wanted to use the shiny screen but didn't want too many reflections. You can get a screen with the dull finish, but they wanted it shiny. You wouldn't believe how much time they spend on stuff like that, it is crazy. I remember when they did the Synergy Editions a few years ago they literally talked about thread colors for hours. Those studio guys are insanely passionate about those tiny details.

I agree about the fit and finish, though, it is pretty poor. Mine squeaks like crazy depending on the weather too.

Company I worked for supplies a part on this, they wouldn’t let us sit inside to troubleshoot issues. Had to stand outside with wires through window....

That's pretty wild. It was a well kept secret but what did they gain from not letting someone sit in a camo'd prototype?

I like it! I am excited to see the grand sport, and z06 models.

The price point is shocking its a very affordable car for what we get. Now I mean if the the prices of the c7/c6 go down a little lol

for the price I don't see how this isn't going to be a hot seller....the front and sides look killer. The rear, not so much.

I saw it a couple weeks ago here on the retail/marketing side. I was involved in getting the allocation guide posted for dealers to see as well as the "reserve yours now" program (or whatever they're calling it now). The amount of meetings and effort going into it, even now, is pretty wild. There's still more to come.
