I was driving. Been here all day. I think in general they played really well. They were a play or two away from a huge upset over a really good team. They should be motivated by this.

Agreed. Final score was not what most expected. They get a bye next week to regroup. Then another test at Green Bay. At least it’s not End of December in 20 below temps.

Basically... a fair amount of people expected/predicted/picked the Chiefs to be in the SuperBowl and the Lions were beating them with 30 seconds left in the game. This was a “lock of the week” Chiefs win by almost all accounts and the Lions took them to the wire. I ain’t mad about this loss at all. What it tells me is “We aren’t as good as they are... but we can be”

Keep in mind, the Lions were missing Slay and Amendola.

And, Stafford haters, eat a dick. Dude was hurt and balled out today. He played hard AF today, threw a bunch of dimes, put up the numbers and that “shoulder down” run is why I love the dude.

I'm glad they have all these rules now for pass interference! Lucky for KC, shoving a man to the ground as they turn for the ball, doesn't seem to warrant any of the new rules. I thought the Lions played better in yesterday's loss than they did during all their wins. So that's encouraging.
