Who wants to get paid to play with power tools and electronics?
Hey! I'm hiring! I posted this in the jobs section but it doesn't look like there's much activity in there. I have a small but rapidly expanding company based out of Livonia, and I'm looking to hire 1-2 full time technicians. We do Audio/Video installations, structured wiring, networking, etc. in both residential and commercial environments. We do new construction, remodels, and finish work. Pay starts at $15/hr but is also based on experience, and we will happily train the right people. If you're competent, have a good work ethic and are mechanically inclined and know how tools work I can almost guarantee more than that. We offer a matching 401K, paid holidays, and a monthly health insurance allowance after 90 days. We are quick to recognize and reward accomplishments, what you put into this is what you will get out of it. Attitude and work ethic are everything. You must be willing and able to carry tools and equipment (sometimes 50-60 lbs), climb ladders, and use power tools. You will be working as part of a team tackling some of our larger projects. Hours are Monday through Friday generally 8:30-5, but sometimes a little earlier and/or later based on work load. You must pass a background check and a drug test (not too concerned about the devil's lettuce but if you come to work high or even smelling like it you're not going to have a good time, card or not), and have a reasonably clean driving record (no reckless/careless driving, no DUI/DWI).
