    Pretty sure it's home repairs/construction add-ons in general.

    Either it's priced beyond the researched estimated expected local cost or the phone/emails go unanswered.

    I don't know if he is still doing that work. Last time I check on glass block windows for a clients house he said he wasn't doing them.

    I used this guy years ago for two fairly small jobs. He was reasonable priced, showed up when he was supposed to and the concrete held up well and still looks good today.

    I second doing it yourself. I paid someone an asinine amount to do a quick porch repair in my last place before we listed it. I thought it was over my head. Guy showed up with a buddy and between tearing it down, a run to HD and slapping it back up. They were in and out in under 3 hours.

    They both walked away with $100/hr because I didn’t know any better.
