    Default Waffles.....

    What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Seems to be the new way to broom anything.

What about the spot cost vs value.

If you’re only paying $100 for a spot. Do you care how many spots?

Say the vehicle is worth 5k (everyone has a different view of value)
Do you care if it’s 75 spots at $100 each? From see what Trunk and Gosshole go through collecting payments
There should be a little bump in spots.
Trunkton does add in 2nd and 3rd which is nice... since I did win a 2nd rd victory one time

    Thoughts?

I’m with it, seems to work well depending on the item.

I haven't participated in a car raffle in a couple of years, but it's worth the risk as a buyer of a spot if it's something I'm interested in. The buyer/potential buyer of a spot needs to determine if it's worth it. I'd say supply and demand should work itself out in price vs the amount of spots available.

With extreme lowballing these days, not a bad idea to raffle off a car to get around the number you want.

I might purchase a ticket if I felt I could
trust the people running the waffle / auction.

I just recall someone giving shit to JQuick. About the thunderstang. That the money didn’t add up.
And I thought it was way off base.

    Your spot is still $100
No matter how many spots are sold. I guess there is a threshold

But a couple grand more than “value” is completely reasonable to me, given all the shit the guy deals with.

The winner still is putting up $100 or whatever the case is.
In fact, say winner gets the item, 2nd place $1k? I really like how trunk does that part. 3 winners.

Not a fan. I was in that gun raffle group forever.

I figure by the time you waste money playing before you finally win, you could have just saved up and gotten exactly what you want.

    Yeap. My thoughts exactly.

Same handful of people usually win.
Not that it’s rigged, but they play the most.

Should be one spot per person too. So everyone has a equal chance.

"Odds of winning" is a very funny thing.

Many, many years ago when I was in 6th grade
we had a class project / fund raiser. You could
earn a "point" that was equal to 1 prize ticket.

Most folks had 2 or 3 tickets for the drawing,
    some had 10 - 12. I had 86! (I'm very competitive!).

Well the teacher & class decided to simply give me 1st
place prize and then draw for the next lower prizes.

And so the drawing for the other prizes went......and
not once did one of my tickets come up!

I think a lot of people learned something that day.
