Default Anyone here EPA 608 certified? Helpful tips/ all the answers etc...

I have no real idea of what to expect, I believe there’s 25 questions per section so looking at 100 questions with 72 correct needed to obtain a universal but any 1 of 4 certifications is expected.
I am a maintenance tech for a 7 facility business and hvac is one of many hats I wear. We do typical diagnoses and repair but call the pro’s beyond normal maintenance/repair.
I was approached Wednesday with a registration confirmation for said test and feel kind ran over! But I do enjoy the occasional massage of dual tracks across my back!
I have spent every free minute reading the 60 page study guide over and over again.
Two day class starts Monday test on Tuesday,
If you have taken the test and have any tips for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I took the MACS test in 2004 that's covered R134A and R12, I do remember the test had very specific questions. If I remember correctly it was things like percentages of refrigerant and containments of what can and can't be recycled. Not sure what the 608 test is but I'd assume it's similar.

It’s actually really informative at the least, I feel kinda like a db knowing some of the stuff I have done that apparently HAS depleted our Ozone. New respect for the stuff
    CFCs,HCFCs,HFCs and I think ABCs because it’s easy as 123 ............

If it’s like the 609 test it’s open book

No, the 608 is closed but they do allow the temp/pressure chart!
There’s also an option to have a proctored exam setting which my exam is.
    Proctored= 70%
    Non-proctored = 84%
Either way closed book, seems funny they give break assuming you cheat less when proctored?

Have to look into that 609, my boss is more than willing to push any cert or training I am willing to try.

609 is the one auto techs have to have

I know, if it’s at all possibly related to my position he will allow it.
Unless there’s any stipulation or cert needed prior to I’m game.
We have 2 vehicles we maintain so good enough for him to allow I’m sure.

Have to wait 2-3 weeks for results but feel I was 70 % confident across the board. As long as core and any one of 3 are passing I’m good there, a second chance test is allowed to further the certificate chase if wanted.
Once the results are released it will give me a real idea on my ability to retain info and set the scale of needed focus to hopefully obtain a universal, tho type 2 is ideal any 1 is ok in my book as it’s kinda irrelevant and unnecessary for any cert in my position.
On a hi note : Bossman and myself went and we both now have the flu! Luckily I still have personal and vacation time to blow!
