Default Car hit by snow plow

Driving along the street today and a plow truck on 275 threw snow over the side, perfectly timing to hit me and smash my windshield.

Of course my insurance agent office is closed for thr weekend, and the 24hr call line can't tell me anything.

Might anybody know what I should plan to do with this? Is it all on me or should I call the city and complain?

You can call and complain but it will fall on deaf ears. I'd get a quote if you have a deductible it may not be worth a claim.

That's pretty much what I was thinking all around. Figured while I'm waiting to talk to everyone (why does this always happen on weekends?) I'd see if anyone ever dealt with such a thing before around here.

Dave. If you have glass coverage my shop right near my office will replace it and waive the deductible for you. I’m friends with the owner. Just shoot me a text if you need my help.

I can’t picture where you would drive underneath 275 for this to happen. Good luck with the repair

No, but I sure realized how useful they could be quickly, haha.

Thanks. It was Canton between Ikea & Walmart right at the 275 interchange (pic attempted to attach). It's crazy, 1 second sooner or later either way and it wouldn't have happened. I've never even seen snow get tossed like that. One would think a truck would raise his plow on an overpass like that, but I'm no Mr. Plow.
