I’m kind of holding out to see if they put the 5.0 in it. The 2.3 turbo or whatnot just doesn’t have the same appeal.

Nice promo video. Engine sounds like a 2.3.

It's a good promo video but for one thing. They barely show the vehicle. I guess that's the point though, just to build interest.

Looks pretty solid, if these can pull ~7500+ lbs they'll be a real winner.

You know I read Ford's goal for this thing is that they just hope to steal some wrangler sales. They admit it will not have the rock crawling capability of the Wrangler. For offroad prowess it looks like it will be more of a competitor for the Cherokee/grand cherokee, but look a little more like a wrangler. Should be cool anyway (I hope).

Majority of jeeps are more mall crawlers, than rock. It’s the hardcore people that will elevate it and make it crawl. Don’t like the 2.3 tho, so that’s a miss for me if it’s only engine option.

I agree about the continental, like who approved those handles? Compare those to the hideaway ones, ones sleeker and seems more upper class and the other is just some weird idea to hide it in the window trim.

The jeeps will do some pretty awesome rock crawling even stock. But I get what you're saying. Anyway, just reporting what Ford said.
