True, seems like that is probably the case with a lot of cars lately though...

Not really. That was an existing facility located right next door to a functional drag strip. It requires a lot of money, work, and a serious passion for redneckery.

I watched the episode already, loved it! No bald eagle noises though.... Those always make me laugh.

Went to pick up food from 12 oaks mall on Friday, the parking lot is getting a good workout.
Quite a bit of fresh rubber all over the place.

They should just turn that into a drag strip.. that's what 99% of the traffic is there.

FWIW, Dodge was the only American car brand in the top 10 for dependability in the most recent consumer report at #8. Ford was #16 and Cadillac #30. This is in large part due to the outstanding dependability record of the Challengers and Chargers and caravan of course. They've been building the same cars for over 10 years and have it down pat!

I was thinking the same thing. They have been building that Chassis for almost 20 years I think. I would expect nothing less! I was working at Chrysler in 1999 and I think it was a joint project between Large Car platform and the Germans (I was there during the Daimler-Chrysler era. A merger of equals!).

Yeah a former FCA engineer that I met that now works at GM, (not you, Geoff), told me there are pieces in the challenger and charger that were designed in the mid-90s, merecedes E-class stuff. I don't really care, the cars work!
