    I used Steve as well. To be honest, I wasn’t happy






    By that, I mean I wasn’t happy he didn’t let me drive his Hellcat. But the mortgage part of it, best guy in the game.

    So how does refinancing work these days? I can't help but notice the 2.5% advertised 15 year fixed rate mortgages. Seems they all come with $3500+ closing costs attached to them, I take it that is normal nowadays? It takes a huge interest rate difference for me to find it to be worth it.

    They say you need to save 1% to make it worth it.

    I think it depends on the loan amount. 1% interest on a 100k vs 1% of 1mil is very different. (I have also heard this advice as before as well though)
