Default Anybody know what would cause one spark plug to oil foul?

Having an issue on the current engine in the Rolls Royce racecar that has the Viper V10 engine in it.

#10 spark plug is oil fouling. Changed the valve seals and it's still happening. Compression test is fine. Only thing I can think of is a cracked piston or oil ring issue?

I've never had this happen before and am a bit stumped.

    Ideas?

Cylinder walls may be badly scored.

How about a worn out valve guide?

Have you done a leak down test on that cylinder?

How fast does it do it? Is it burning oil?

Did a compression, but not a leak down. Do you guys think a leak down will find the problem?

When we were at the track, it would oil foul a fresh plug in about 10-15 minutes of track time.

If you have access to a leak down tester I believe it would be a worthwhile test.

Is it possible that the viper engine has a design flaw that effects just the #10 cylinder? Something stupid like a vaccum line from the PCV or ????
Full disclosure I know 0 about viper V10's just thinking outside the box as you've covered most of the bases.

have a catch can installed for the CCV/PCV? track have big left turns?
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I had a 1976 Tran Am that had the same problem. It was just the cylinder wall. I am not sure how to detect it without just looking in the cylinder.

My Camaro's engine had this issue. Turned out to be a cracked piston.
