    We have 3 of those hoists in a garage. You can lift an entire sand rail up to the ceiling and allow room for.... More sand rails! Also, they easily lift an engine/trans for swaps.

    The "tornado straps" I think they are called are just cheap additional bracing for the walls. You mount them diagonally to tie all of the studs together.

    So the garage got abused in the move and sat all winter. Finally got it cleaned up and set up this weekend. Now to find time for the car.
