Not sure how much detail your looking to get, but If you have an iPhone / iPad check out dash command app in the iOS store. It hooks up with Bluetooth to an OBDII dongle that you can get from amazon.

Looks like available for Android and windows as well

Wanna use this on my 85 FOX. The kit pictured is exactly the type of setup that im looking for right now with room to grow. Also consider similar setups. Thanks.

I don't have a suggestion, but $588 seems like a lot of money to measure driveshaft speed and engine RPM.
I feel like there has to be some sort of Arduino or Raspberry Pi system that could do this for less.
Do you want only D/S speed, or do you have other stuff in mind?

I’ll be adding more sensors for other things as time goes on.

It might be worth checking into a Racepak or something if you want to add on.
I am not sure how popular/robust the system you listed is, but seems like the more popular it is, the easier it is to get help and information, share parts when in a pinch.
    Just my thoughts...
I am using ETAS logger on my stuff, but that is because I use it at work. My guess is that nobody is using it on their project/toy cars.

RacePak seems to be about the industry standard. Ive looked at some of their stuff but its outta my league and I just cant justify the expense for what im trying to do. I heard they have some “budget” oriented stuff so i will give them another look for good measure. I have talked to a couple people who have first hand experience with the system im considering and they gave it a positive review. Thanks

Cool, as long as you get something that people know. If only few people really have it, it might be cheaper, but will cost you in the end because you'll have a tough time using it or trouble trying to figure something out. Everything is expensive, so that certainly doesn't help.
