    Default Milan last night, 9/12/20

Anybody go to Milan to test yesterday? Apparently a blue Camaro exploded right next to the tree right after I left. Just curious if the guy is ok.

I just heard about it tonight, the video looked pretty bad. It happened just after I left too I guess. Nice talking to you BTW, the car looked great!

The driver walked away from what I heard. Not sure if the throttle stuck or if he was just on the brake to long. It looked bad.

That’s good to hear. It sounded like the throttle stuck then maybe the trans exploded. Not sure, but it looked bad.

I was told he turned both bulbs on and went on the 2 step for over 20 seconds waiting for the other car to stage.

It was less than 10 seconds but it was revved to the moon....

geez. why would one do that
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Wow. This is a lesson learned for a lot of people. You can't do that. Trans temp climbs fast when on the transbrake. Seals melt, fluid sprays, fluid ignites on red hot exhaust. His competition wasn't near staging yet. His crewman should have shut him down with some hand signals. We've seen people get burned down but this was possibly just an inexperienced driver. Anyone know? I'm not an expert but I don't want that to happen to anyone here. Hope they didn't get burnt!
