Come to find out, that number is a bit misleading.

I wonder how they will be leasing? The base truck is said to come in around $80k. I could go for one if the lease is right. Not like a need a lot of miles anymore! I leased a new Silverado in May and I am only putting 400 a month on it. I need the 5000 mile a year lease now.

I see, the number seemed a little extreme but to be honest electric motors are not my thing but I do know they are instant torque.

Edition 1 reservations are sold out. I put in a reservation for the 3x, with wait list for Edition 1. Not sure if I'll actually go forward with the purchase, but the $100 gets me a spot in line and is refundable.

$112k sounds expensive, and it is. But when you think about someone who may have a newer 4x4 daily driver + newer corvette/mustang or other fun car, might actually be cheaper this way. e.g. leased Silverado DD and a c8 in the garage...

I too was more interested in the $70-80k trims, but those are still 3 years out for delivery. Question is whether you wait or not...

I think it's bad ass and a great move for GM. Way out of my budget, though.
